HOW TO LOCATE
The booklet will be distributed at 2 or 3 locations in Toronto, Canada, and at the FREE MANIFESTA HEADQUARTERS in Frankfurt am Main. The pages of the booklet will be scanned and posted on the Art is Hell web site at www.artishell.com. In addition, a copy can be obtained by emailing the artists at free-art@artishell.com.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Tony Calzetta is a painter, printmaker and sculptor. In the 25 or so years since he graduated with a B.F.A. and a M.F.A. from the University of Windsor and York University (Canada) he has created a vocabulary of imagery which starts with automatic drawing or doodling which he then develops into vibrant abstract comic book-like shapes and forms. He recently completed a folio of 20 intaglio prints entitled War Stories for Children and Art Stories for Adults. An exhibition of 10 large canvases and 3 sculptures from the same series is currently travelling to 9 public galleries across Canada.
Gabrielle de Montmollin is a photographer who uses toys and plastic dolls and figures to create allegories of nature, womanhood and dreams. Both seductive and vaguely sinister, her images are fantasy landscapes that encourage viewers to laugh happily/uncomfortably while trying to reconcile the storytelling elements they contain.
