FREE MANIFESTA: PROJECTS: NOSTALGIA
NOSTALGIA
JESSICA BUSHEY

Family photographs taken in the early 1970's are combined with text to recall childhood goals and cultural icons of success and status. Images were taken by my grandmother living in Massachusetts, USA. The text has been added by me, after choosing images that represent the nostalgia I had for the United States of America while growing-up in Canada. The first card "hero" begins the series, there will be 8 more created to complete. The cards can be traded like the baseball cards of American youth.
