Our first puzzle image was found in my mother's closet, "Haere Mai--Welcome!" (Can anyone identify where the image is from?) One hundred and forty pieces, 140 participants. Instead of continually fighting for your measly piece of the pie, let's build an international community for peace together. One piece at a time. The whole is greater that the sum of its parts.
HOW TO LOCATE
Join us! Become a member of Puzzled Club International-Piece for Peace.You will be sent one unique piece of this magnificent puzzle for safe keeping, and the names and contacts for the other 139 members of the Haere Mai-Welcome! Project. Our goal is to develop a cooperative plan to bring all 140 pieces of the puzzle back together! Where, when, how will be up to the group! Let's communicate-a progressive puzzle pal opportunity-email, fax, snail mail, even live voice! Our groundbreaking strategies and creative concepts could become a model for world peace!
Each unique person, language, and nationality is represented by each unique piece of the whole. Your piece of this puzzle fits symbiotically
with your neighbors, thus erasing artificial borders and barriers to unity. Empowerment!

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artist Jay Critchley's conceptual and performance work has traversed the globe, from his Old Glory Condom Corporation and the Blessed Virgin
Rubber Goddess, to Miss Tampon Liberty and the Nuclear Recycling Consultants. He lives year round in Provincetown, Massachusetts U. S. A. and is presently finishing two independent movie shorts, "Toilet Treatments" and "Providence Dirt Newsreel" for the film festival circuit. He is founder and director of Theater in the Ground@ Septic Space in his backyard septic tank. He would love to hear from other film makers and performers and may be reached at reroot@tiac.net.
